Ok so having bought a pair of FitFlop Electra flip flop style sandals and lived in them during the Summer (it seems such a long time ago now but I vaguely remember that it was good enough weather most of the time and I managed to practically live in my FitFlops and love love loved wearing them. My friend has some too and we both always say that you don’t really ‘walk’ in these shoes, you ‘bounce’ or ‘jump’ in them! That’s the way they make you feel, its such a light feeling and seems so much easier than wearing normal shoes.

I’m really pleased that FitFlop have such a wide range to choose from too because I can’t be wearing my Summer sandals in the middle of Winter and now I don’t need to worry about what I’ll be wearing on my feet during the wet and windy (and, lets face it, probably snowy) months ahead – I can have FitFlops all year round!

When I first heard about FitFlops and the way they can tone your legs and bottom when you walk and they help relieve back pain and foot pain and all the rest of it, I thought they were for old people! I half expected them to look like old ladies ‘comfortable’ shoes so at first I didn’t take any notice of all the hype and the rave reviews. To be honest I thought it was all probably just a fad and that FitFlops would soon disappear off the radar, never to be heard of again. But I was wrong.

The FitFlop revolution took off and I am probably one of the biggest fans of these funky toning shoes! I was out shopping in Spring last year, the weather was nice and I was looking for a new pair of flip flops when I found them, a whole range of sparkly, spangly flip flops and an added bonus that came with them of a built in something special in the soles of all the shoes which helps to tone and firm your bum and legs when you walk. I couldn’t believe you could get a great-looking shoe that actually did something useful too. I tried loads of pairs on and finally decided on the silver Electra ones. I could quite happily bought the entire colour range in bronze, gold, black, pink and pewter but as they were my first ever pair I thought I should only get the one pair! I really liked the way they hugged my foot and the fact that they had a decent sole on them that was flattering and made my leg look longer and slimmer straight away (that always gets my vote). Once I had tried the FitFlops then there is now no going back. I know they say that they tone you up etc but they really do, I do a fair bit of walking (school run twice a day) and walks in the park at weekends and even I noticed a difference to the firmness of my legs after wearing my FitFlops rather than normal trainers. I was surprised but obviously really pleased because I wasn’t actually doing anything extra in my daily routine and I was seeing results.

So even before the end of the summer I had another look at the FitFlop range to see what goodies I could find for the transition from Summer into Autumn and I happened upon the gorgeous Supertone sneakers (I got them in red which I love wearing with my jeans) and they’re so comfortable that I wear them every day (I’ve even bought another pair of jeans so I can wear them every day and not look like I’m wearing the same jeans – its fine to wear the same pair of shoes daily but jeans need a wash every few days!).

So, now I’ve been wearing my lovely red FitFlop Supertones for a couple of months its time to start thinking about the Winter and what could be better than a gorgeous pair of FitFlop fur lined Mukluks!
